2025 Auxillary Pump House
In the 2025 excavation season exploration began on a previously undocumented pump house. Given its location, near to the receiving pond, located just to its south it is thought that this pump house may have been used to pump water, under pressure in to the hot boilers of the near by Hoist House. This was necessary to maintain safe operating conditions of the boilers. Other uses of this structure are still being determined.
