50 Years Strong

2027 will mark the 50 year anniversary of Tom's vision for a mine tour that would help tell the story of the Keweenaw. We have been blessed to be able to step in and help craft the next chapter of this story.

As we look to next season we are making plans to celebrate this milestone and have many ideas we are tossing around. Over the last few years we have heard from many people ranging from elementary students to more seasoned individuals. They share their stories of previous visits or even their first time here. We enjoy seeing how this dream has affected all of you who are now part of the story.

We want to gather stories from visitors over the years that we can share with others. Everyone who visits seems to have a different story to tell and the idea of putting that in a display for others to see would be fun. In order to accomplish this we need to gather short stories (a paragraph or two) that tells your story. Any photos you have would also be great as we start to create this. Part of this content might be used on the website but the goal is to get printed panels to include in one of the buildings for people to read and explore next season.
