No Detour needed

As you may have heard MDOT is closing down US41 and putting a detour on M26 in order to get to Copper Harbor. The good news is this does not cause any problems if you are coming up to the mine. The road closure is scheduled from August 10th - 14th and happens well north of us by Lake Medora. After the first week they will have a traffic light allowing alternating one lane traffic for the remainder of the schedule.

For those of you stopping by on the way to the Harbor there is a shortcut back to M26 that can get you back on track with only a little added drive time. The team here can help explain that route if you ask them. It is a shared dirt road so it might be a little challenging for large and long rigs.
